Bey' Is Back To Business
Jay Z is a ride or die for his Boo Bey. Just over a month after Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy she says "I'm ready to get back to what I was born to do". So the Jigga man went to work for his number one client and wife. Beyonce is managed by Roc Nation/Live Nation. Jay is in the process of lining up a tour for Bey worth $150 Million, that sh*t cray! Shouts out to Beyonce for bouncing back so quickly and already going in. What I want to see next is a new DC album and tour including Latoya Luckett just like New Edition is doing. That would be dope!! Beyonce is already confirmed to perform 2 shows in Atlantic City at the Revel beachfront resort on Memorial Day weekend.

Ri Ri Is Going Hard
"Little Miss Sunshine" as Hov called her, is flipping the script and going hard. Rihanna tweeted a pic of her at an LA tattoo parlor getting a new tat. We all have seen that she's become a "tataholic" adding new tattoo's all of the time. She recently, had THUG LIFE tatted on her knuckles. That seems a little much for the R&B/Pop diva. We can't confirm whether it's real or temporary. If it's real, all I can say is Daaaaaaaaaamn RiRi! Yeah, yeah, yeah she's so hard!

J.Cole Goes Platinum
Jay Z keeps on winning. He found a very talented young artist named Jermaine Lamarr Cole better know as J.Cole from Frankfurt, Germany who had some very impressive talents. The guy had an incredible spit game, nice flow, and he makes his own music TOO! He had a few mixtapes out that caught Jay's attention but this new album is really dope. In fact,it's so dope that he just went platinum and sold over 200,000 units the first week. That is very unusual in this climate. In addition, he's being nominated for "Best New Artist". MTV spoke with Jay about his thoughts on his protege and his nomination.

New J. Cole Video ft. Trey Songs "Can't Get Enough"
J. Cole is really showing his true artistry. He is reaching out and doing all different kinds of records with several artists. We debuted this on the Avelanche Radio Show and again on the Beat Box Show. Now check out the video they just released for it. Oh don't miss the Ri Ri cameo looking wild.
Who Started Weezy and Hov Beef?
It actually has been several subliminal disses back and forth for a minute. Weezy's latest diss track from "I'm Good" was actually in response to the first Throne track "H.A.M." that was leaked back in January. It took a minute for Weezy to respond but when he did it was a good jab. However, it's been a consistent back and forth between the two. Wayne, like Game, has fired several shots at Hov over the years. Weezy keeps taunting Jay saying that he's old and won't respond. Wayne is still showing his youth and lack of understanding. Once in a while Hov would tap 'em but he wouldn't really say their names to promote them but to just keep them in check. Check out what The ROC- Nation Commander in Chief had to say.

Watch The Throne
Since it's release Monday, Watch The Throne has been breaking sales records. It is a collection of very unique and different songs that I don't think anyone anticipated. The first single "H-A-M" was released back in January and the anticipation began to build off that. The H.A.M track was actually leaked long before it's intended release causing 'Ye and Jay to create a mobile recording facility in France. They returned home to finish the album at a New York hotel limiting access and potential for more song leaks. The second single "Otis" was released in July and pre-sales for the album reached platinum status, just off PRE-sales. The digital download of the album was made available August 8th and set sales records in 23 countries. The album will be in stores on August 12th and industry insiders believe the album will sell 400-450,000 copies in the first week. RZA, Q-Tip, Beyonce,The Neptunes and Swizz Beatz all make appearances on the Roc Nation/Def Jam Collaboration. I guess "The Throne" is truly an appropriate title.

Watch The Throne And Prepare
The collaboration album "Watch The Throne" by Jay Z and Kanye West is building up some serious anticipation, and for good reason. These are two of the biggest stars in music culture, fashion, entertainment and business currently. It is amazing as a hip hop fan to watch their rise at two different times but together as well. The intensity of their talent, skill, and work ethic. Kanye's last body of work was truly something on a different level. Now, he and Jay are set to make history and the moment has begun. This past week they released a first song, not necessarily an official single, called "Otis". The song is truly something different and very interesting. I love how they are not taking standard traditional methods on any of this project. Check out a documentary of the making of "Watch The Throne" shot while they were writing and recording in Australia.

Odd Future Collabo

Odd Future has really jumped onto the scene in a big way. So far, we've really only seen one major record from the so called west coast Wu Tang Clan. There has only been one major record from Tyler The Creator, and another big record from Frank Ocean. However, as a collective there has only been one song released lately. Is the hype really all that? Apparently, it's working because the crew has been everywhere and working with everyone. Tyler the Creator just popped up on a new track with Pusha T produced by Pharell and now pics surface of Frank Ocean in studio with Hov?!?!

Beanie Sigel Publicly Apologizes To Jay-Z

Beans comes clean about airing out his beef with Hov. A lot of people focus too much on what they don't have as opposed to what they do have. In the music industry most artists spend too much time trying to floss instead of being the boss, owning and running your business. Beans had to realize that Jay wasn't his personal babysitter and that he needed to take full advantage of the opportunities given him.
