Kanye Needs A Better Remedy

It seems Theraflu was the cause and cure no more. After Ye' dropped the dope track "Theraflu" a few weeks ago, the company Theraflu didn't take too kindly of the use of their name. What's funny is that as controversial as Kanye can be he never said anything derogatory about "Theraflu". The track was dope and quite humorous for slick lyrical delivery. It was creating controversy for the comments about respecting Wiz and getting Jay to drop Kris Humphries from the Nets. If anything, Theraflu sales might have gone up considerably just for the name being mentioned all over hip hop and the world. Hell it was a big topic of conversation on Kathy Lee and Hoda. Don't get it twisted, my girl watches that (LMBAO). Right now Theraflu looks like the Therafool. Meanwhile, Kanye West is enjoying the extra publicity while thinking of a new title before he releases it.

Regardless of what he may say that keeps him in hot water, he is making some ridiculous moves in the entertainment industry. Ye is fresh off The Throne album/tour and is already neck deep in other moves and projects. First, there are rumors that he and Hov are recording for The Throne 2 already to be released by years end. Meanwhile, he is working his new clothing line, running his G.O.O.D. Music label, prepping the compilation that is to be released any day. In the process, he makes some of the biggest signings to his label. He has signed Mos Def and now Q-Tip. This is amazing that Ye' could sign these artists. G.O.O.D Music could have just edged out YMCMB. Q-Tip says he's excited to join the team and be reconnected with Barry Weiss of Island/Def Jam. Tip also says he is planning on be very cutting edge with his music. His next album (and his 4th solo album) will be called "The Last Zulu". No announcement on a release date yet but please believe this will be an amazing album and moment in hip hop. Get ya money ready and buy the physical album...STOP PLAYIN!!!

A Line For Air Yeezy 2's

Are you serious? Why does Kanye even have a shoe? And further more why are so many people Krazy over Kanye's shoe? It seems that Kanye's deal with Nike is a big hit. The second edition of the Nike Air Yeezy's are expected to be released on April 13th. When the shoes finally come out these obsessed fanatics will dedicated 5 weeks of waiting time for these shoes. Otis's Maybach Saves Lives

The Throne is an appropriate title for Jay and Kanye. Anything they touch makes money simply because they touched it. The Maybach Benz that was featured and chopped in the Otis music video was sold for $60,000. Jay & 'Ye decided to auction the vehicle off to help feed the starving countries of Somalia, Kenya & Ethiopia. The hunger crisis in those country is the worst it's been in 6 decades. The sale of this vehicle was able to provide meals for many deprived individuals. Some say hip hop is destructive, thanks to The Throne for helping to change that image.

G.O.O.D. Single

2 DopeBoyz is reporting that G.O.O.D. Music is announcing the first single off their compilation album already. They are saying the first single will be called Lamborghini, Murci. Rumor has it that the single will include verses from Kanye, Pusha T and Big Sean. The track is supposed to be straight heat. It's produced by Lifted out of Phoenix, AZ. Sounds like fire to me. Again, a lot of things change as they get closer to coming to fruition. For now, there is no release date, so you'll have to just wait and salivate!

Who Is DJ Ye!

First Swizz, then Ms. DJ A.K.47, now DJ Ye, DJ K. West or whatever you want to call him. Sources say ya man Yeezy decided to throw a Christmas party in London right after wrapping up The Throne Tour. Instead of a big named DJ holding it down, Ye took to the tables himself. Party goers say Yeezy played new music from his upcoming solo album as well as new music from the G.O.O.D. Music compilation.

Quite some time back, Cons and Ye had it out and Cons left the label or got dropped, no one is really sure. Words were flying, emotions were running high and the end result was a bitter feud. Watch The Throne

Since it's release Monday, Watch The Throne has been breaking sales records. It is a collection of very unique and different songs that I don't think anyone anticipated. The first single "H-A-M" was released back in January and the anticipation began to build off that. The H.A.M track was actually leaked long before it's intended release causing 'Ye and Jay to create a mobile recording facility in France. They returned home to finish the album at a New York hotel limiting access and potential for more song leaks. The second single "Otis" was released in July and pre-sales for the album reached platinum status, just off PRE-sales. The digital download of the album was made available August 8th and set sales records in 23 countries. The album will be in stores on August 12th and industry insiders believe the album will sell 400-450,000 copies in the first week. RZA, Q-Tip, Beyonce,The Neptunes and Swizz Beatz all make appearances on the Roc Nation/Def Jam Collaboration. I guess "The Throne" is truly an appropriate title.

Jay Z and Kanye West have been rolling out several things surrounding this collaboration album. They have released the first song "Otis" which is not technically the official single but a teaser for the album. The name of the super group has been announced as "The Throne". Hence the title "Watch The Throne". In addition to the Group name, the first song release, and the album title, they are announcing tour dates for certain cities already. The collaboration album "Watch The Throne" by Jay Z and Kanye West is building up some serious anticipation, and for good reason. These are two of the biggest stars in music culture, fashion, entertainment and business currently. It is amazing as a hip hop fan to watch their rise at two different times but together as well. The intensity of their talent, skill, and work ethic. Kanye's last body of work was truly something on a different level. Now, he and Jay are set to make history and the moment has begun. This past week they released a first song, not necessarily an official single, called "Otis". The song is truly something different and very interesting. I love how they are not taking standard traditional methods on any of this project.
