Despite having appeared on tracks alongside rap elite like Kanye West and Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj has revealed her favorite collaboration of all-time features a fellow Young Money artist.
Revealing her top collab via Twitter, Minaj named a 2008 underground cut she did with Lil Wayne.
"My fave feature to date is me and wayne's "sunshine". It was the cutest thing ever. Go listen and report back. Roman. Out.," she tweetedTuesday (March 1). (Nicki Minaj's Twitter)
Last month, Minaj said she would give up collaborations for two years with the exception of working with pop star Britney Spears.
"I'm done with the collabs," Minaj revealed in an interview. "No more collabs for the next two years. [Britney Spears?] Oh yeah. [smiles] Britney's a snatch like me and she's cute. Yes. We might could do something." (Hip Hollywood)
Always fond of Wayne, Minaj recently spoke on her Young Money leader remaining drug-free since his release from jail last November.
"Clearer than ever," Minaj said referring to Lil Wayne's state of mind. "It's like talking to him, he's like a new person. Like, um, he's nicer. He's more calm. I don't know. I guess when you're not getting high, it just, you have to deal with reality and I think he likes his reality now. He's really super appreciative and you know, I don't know. To date, the rapper's Pink Friday solo debut album has already sold over a million copies.
