LA Company Drops 420-Page Luxury, Large-Format Book On Hip-Hop's History


Los Angeles-based ARIA Multimedia Entertainment recently released a hip-hop book they hail as the culture's "first official luxury large-format" release, entitled Hip-Hop: A Cultural Odyssey.

The book boasts 420 pages and acts as a tribute to the hip-hop culture, says the company. It includes never-before-seen photos and interviews with the genre's pioneers, players and legends and "brings to life the birth, evolution and global impact of hip-hop culture over the past four decades."

From Grandmaster Flash to Nicki Minaj, and everything in between, it's all included.

Showcasing influential hip-hop personalities such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Eminem, Run-DMC, Queen Latifah, Will.I.Am, Diddy, 50 Cent and Will Smith, the literary ARIA includes 70 original essays written by hip-hop's most respected journalists and authors, that profiles 40 artists who changed the game and covers 30 different aspects of the culture.
