After 7 Years They're Calling It Quits
Terrence J And Rocsi of 106th & Park just announced that after 7 straight years that they will be leaving the show. The pair took over after the original hosts AJ & Free. Once AJ & Free were released B.E.T. tried out several hosts including Big Tigger, Julissa, even plus sized model Tocarra did a short stint on the show. The executives eventually settled on a new male/female team of Terrence & Rocsi. Since their start they've been able to consume several opportunities as a result. They both do radio shows, Rocsi's is syndicated, Terrence's is with Khloe Kardashian out of Miami. Terrence is seeing a lot of success with his role in "Think Like A Man" based off the book written by Steve Harvey. Terrence was quoted as saying "This, by no stretch of the imagination, was an easy decision, but it's the right one.". The question is now, what becomes of the only show left that plays music or music videos? Will B.E.T. continue with new hosts, guest hosts or shut the show down all together. Terrence and Rocsi will stay put for the time being to take a "victory lap" building up to their departure. This will be another end of an era. I just hope B.E.T. won't let the music die.

What The Havoc Is Going On?
For those who missed the strange but wildly entertaining twitter rant, let me fill you in. Havoc of Mobb Deep's twitter account went ham days ago calling his Mobb Deep partner Prodigy, gay. Hav challenged Prodigy to call him. He tried to force P to speak but there was no response. As the silence grew, so did Hav's anger. He unleashed a barrage of insulting tweets that sounded like the two were sworn enemies. Peter Rosenburg and Cipha Sounds on Hot 97's morning show tried to contact Havoc and get him on the show. Somehow Havoc was not available to be on the show but Prodigy was. Check out the interview.

A$AP Rocky Met The Man He Was Named After
A$AP Rocky is a hot new up and comer on the hip hop scene. He is a solo artist but he is part of a crew that is called ASAP (Always Strive and Prosper). His crew consists of not just rappers but managers, stylists, etc. Every person in the crews name starts with ASAP. It's like a family from China where their first name is their family name. They have other members that rap like ASAP Ferg, ASAP Twelvy & ASAP Pillz. While most names are street names, ASAP Rocky's name is short for his real name Rakim. ASAP Rocky's mom's is from Harlem and is a huge Rakim fan. She decided to name her son after "The God". He told the story on Angie Martinez's show and Angie Mar had a little something up her sleeve. Check out video of the show.

Diddy Relocates And Has Big Plans
Diddy has juggled so many hats over the last decade and on several occasions his number priority, music, has suffered. He has done a better job lately but he still continues to forge forward with new and different ideas. He says his wish is that you would wake up to his music, shower with his shampoo, get dressed in Sean John Clothing while wearing his Sean John fragrances. Then after work he hopes you'll head to your favorite watering hole for a drink of Ciroc. Is it just me or did you just realize how much Diddy is controlling our culture? I feel like a pawn. I can't be mad at Diddy's hustle though. He has also been the Executive producer for 6 different TV shows at the same time. He has now relocated to L.A. to continue to expand that part of his businesses as well as embark on several new movie roles. The man once known as Puffy can Puff, Puff, pass me some of that money and hustle. Big ups to another successful black man and hip hop music mogul.

Dame Dash Gets Busted

Former Roc-A Fella co-founder Dame Dash was recently busted, but not for what you think. Dame Dash had some property on Duane St. in Manhattan. It was notorious spot for for art events, jam sessions with Jim Jones, Currensy, Mos Def and even worse wild parties. Obviously, the neighbors really don't like Dame Dash. I'm sure they kept a close eye on the place whenever they would see the beginnings of any activity. Trouble started when Dame began to sell alcohol in this spot without a liquor license. In a legal document obtained by a local paper states “were conducted in an open and notorious manner and the operators of this establishment appear to have evinced a ‘business as usual’ attitude in the subject premises.” Dash was hit with 6 counts of NY liquor code violations.
