Hip Hop Squares Debuts

The classic tv show Hollywood Squares has been altered, tainted and regurgitated. The new show is called Hip Hop Squares featuring many artist involved in Hip Hop and urban culture period. It can either be really dope or really square. The first episode debuted last night but the video was pulled. However, we were able to obtain the pre-party Champagne toast with host Peter Rosenburg and several guest. Check out the vid!

What The Havoc Is Going On?

For those who missed the strange but wildly entertaining twitter rant, let me fill you in. Havoc of Mobb Deep's twitter account went ham days ago calling his Mobb Deep partner Prodigy, gay. Hav challenged Prodigy to call him. He tried to force P to speak but there was no response. As the silence grew, so did Hav's anger. He unleashed a barrage of insulting tweets that sounded like the two were sworn enemies. Peter Rosenburg and Cipha Sounds on Hot 97's morning show tried to contact Havoc and get him on the show. Somehow Havoc was not available to be on the show but Prodigy was. Check out the interview.

Is He Retiring The Name?....Mos Def!

Yes it is true Mos Def says he will retire the name Mos Def at the end of 2011. He was born Dante Terrell Smith but he converted to Islam like his father and changed his government name to Yasiin. He says with all of the projects he's in, he no longer wants to have a separation with a moniker. Check out the interview he did with Peter Rosenburg of Hot 97.
