Believe it or not Snoop Dogg has signed on with Ames Universal to play the legendary Bay area Blues guitarist Fillmore Slim. Many are saying Snoops resemblance to the legendary Slim is striking and their personas are very similar too. Known as the Pope of Pimpin, Fillmore Slim started his career as a Blues singer and guitarist in the 1950's. He left music for the fast life of prostitution during the '60's and '70's but decided to return to music in the '80's. The movie is apparently already shooting and post-production begins in December. We just may see Pimp Doggy Dog or Fillmore Snoop on the big screen sometime around Spring or early summer.
