John Legend and his Get Lifted Film Co. just signed on to produce a comedy sitcom. Legend and former NBC exec Teri Weinberg will be the executive producers of the show. Legend is said to also be one of the writers as well. The show is about a Hip Hop star who recently discovered he has a son. They are beginning to start a relationship and that is where the comedy begins. They come from very different backgrounds and the relationship between him and his son who's been raised by an all white family is the premise. The show will be called "Mixed Blessings" and will air on NBC this fall with an A-list celebrity in the cast.
