Rehab? She's Just A Kidd!

In a very unfortunate situation, NBA Championship Point Guard Jason Kidd's 17 year old daughter, Cheyenne Kidd< is about to re-enter a drug rehab. The beautiful young 17 old Kidd has been struggling with drugs. A lot of stars do not realize that their lifestyles create added pressure and stress on these already struggling teenagers. When you compound these struggling times with money, fame and drug accessibility, that spells disaster. We've seen it time and time again. Let's also not forget that Kidd and his wife divorced and I'm sure that was an added issue. Oh and her mother made things worse by starring in Basketball Wives instead of focusing on mending a damaged family. Take a look at young america and realize our contributions to their struggles.

Life Imitates Art..Or A True Story Unfolds

Singer Amy Winehouse was found dead Saturday morning in her London flat. The talented songstress had several hit songs and manage to find success in the U.S. as well. Her biggest selling record was a song that really spoke about her personal struggles outside of the music industry, her addiction to drugs. Winehouse battled drug and alcohol abuse for several years in and out of "Rehab". With all of the chaos and pressure of the industry it was unfortunately a matter of time before something of this magnitude was bound to happen. I think she completely needed to step away from the industry and focus on herself getting clean. Another talented but troubled star has fallen.
