Nelly just dropped a new joint and so did his Boo Ashanti. Somebody go out and buy their singles so Nelly can pay his bills. He apparently has been struggling financially for quite some time now. Back in October, Nelly was sued by AMEX (American Express) for not paying his credit card charges. AMEX claims Nelly charged $20,403.64 on his card and never paid. Nelly is allegedly refusing to pay the charges for some reason. It's hard to fathom Nelly being broke and not having money after his strong hold on radio during the early 2000 to about 2008. You were hard pressed to turn on the radio and not hear a Nelly song or a cameo. In his defense, he did lose his sister and assumed all financial responsibility for all her medical and burial expenses. There was a lot of wild and exotic spending that took place, maybe it was a case of retail therapy while he mourned his sisters death. It's not the first we've heard of Nelly's financial woes. He and his former producer had a war of words on twitter. His former producer outted some of Nelly's vices, Pills, steroids and Ashanti. Citing those as reasons he wasn't being paid and the same reason he couldn't make his house payment. Nelly needs to get focused and get back to business. Someone please help pay his credit card bill.
