Pac and Nate Dogg Are Alive!

This past weekend was the big Coachella concert weekend with some of today's biggest and brightest names in music. However, none bigger than Snoop, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg and Tupac. The west rides again as Dr. Dre brought back to life live performances of Pac and Nate Dogg. It was the most amazing thing you've ever seen. For a moment in time, we were given back our fallen soldiers and reminded why it is they are legendary. Even Tupac's mother Ms. Afeni Shakur said it was unbelievable. Both Pac and Nate Dogg were performing as holograms and it really felt like they were there in the flesh. It's not the first time it has happened but it's the first for hip hop. TMZ has provided us with a video of the Snoop and Tupac performance. Now can we get a Run D.M.C. reunion tour?

Snoop Sings The Blues

Believe it or not Snoop Dogg has signed on with Ames Universal to play the legendary Bay area Blues guitarist Fillmore Slim. Many are saying Snoops resemblance to the legendary Slim is striking and their personas are very similar too. Known as the Pope of Pimpin, Fillmore Slim started his career as a Blues singer and guitarist in the 1950's. He left music for the fast life of prostitution during the '60's and '70's but decided to return to music in the '80's. The movie is apparently already shooting and post-production begins in December. We just may see Pimp Doggy Dog or Fillmore Snoop on the big screen sometime around Spring or early summer. Ashley Judd Rips Snoop Dogg, Diddy For 'Misogyny' In Hip-Hop

Longtime Hollywood actress Ashley Judd has released a memoir this past Tuesday (April 5) and in it the daughter of celebrated country music singer Naomi Judd and half-sister to singer Wyonna Judd blasted rap stars Snoop Dogg and Diddy.

A known global advocate for HIV/AIDS awareness, Ashley Judd spoke fondly of her work with the YouthAids campaign but offered blistering disdain for Snoop and Diddy’s inclusion in the campaign where she serves as an ambassador.

Judd’s resistance to Snoop Dogg and Diddy was rooted in the idea that the actress is a strong of opponent of hip hop and she offered some insight within her book. “Along with other performers, YouthAIDS was supported by rap and hip-hop artists like Snoop Dogg and P. Diddy to spread the message ... um, who? Those names were a red flag,” she said.
