Recently, Ms. E has been in the news speaking out publicly about her battle with Graves disease. As a result, Missy has considered retiring from the music industry. Now she is being featured on the new episodes of VH1's behind the music and going deeper than she's ever gone before. She is opening up about the physical and mental abuse that took place in her parents home and how she almost lost her mother at the hands of her very own father. Missy's episode kicks off a new season of Behind The Music episodes. Check out the preview while the full episode airs today (June 29th) on VH1.

Missing Misdemeanor
Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliot has been not only one of the dopest female rappers but one of the best producer/Singer/Rapper/songwriters ever. She is the only Femcee with 6 Platinum albums. She has written and produced some of the biggest hits out. Some of those records include Ginuwines "Pony", Aaliyah's "One In A Million" her very own "Get Your Freak On", "Work It" and the classic remake of "Moulin Rouge". Missy has been busy making hits but has lately been off the scene. In a recent interview with Lil Kim, she stated that she would like to do a "Not Tonight 2" where she could get all of the ladies of Hip Hop/R&B together again. Missy was quoted as saying I'm in if you do it before my next album because it might be her last. It's now being reported that Missy Elliott has Graves disease which is disease that affects the Thyroid and is a life long issue. She has recently dropped another 30lbs and hasn't take the medication for a while. Hopefully our girl can keep it under control and bless us once in a while as her health permits. To us she will always be "Supa Dupa Fly".
