Xzibit Says Planking Is Ignorant!

According to TMZ, Xzibit voiced his opinion about planking saying that planking was the dumbest sh!t ever. He went on to elaborate that it has slave references and that people who do it don't have any idea where it came from. If you don't know what planking is you obviously haven't paid attention to this blog. It's a sweeping fad where people lay face down like a wood plank in the most creative places and post them on twitter and other places across the net. Many starts are taking part in it from Joe Budden, Chris Brown, The Game Meagan Good, Letoya Luckett, Slim Thug to Flavor Flav. Xzibit says the fad is ignorant because it's a reference to the way slaves were transported to the U.S.. He says it's degrading and hurtful. I don't completely agree with Xzibit. It's a silly little fad that quite frankly is funny at times.I think it's a far stretch to say that it's a reference to slavery. If anything, you could say it's a closer reference to people being executed if anything. Realistically it's just a funny fad and let's all just enjoy the comedy of others actions rather than getting upset over nothing. We can all turn nothing into something. The only person who should be offended here is....massage therapists!
