On Wednesday (March 14th)Def Jam was once again appointed a new president. This time the name is Joie Manda. He comes from Warner Bros. as an executive to lead the new Def Jam regime. He will be working with Barry Weiss, who claims he is the best man for the job. Weiss was quoted as saying "Manda is one of the most respected young executives in today's urban music landscape, possessing all the qualifications and experience that are essential to run Def Jam." Manda says he is ready for the greatest challenge of his life.
