Another Fallen Comedic Entertainer

R.I.P. to one of the funniest brothers in the comedy game. Patrice Oneal passed away Monday (November 28th) from a stroke. He was a brilliant stand up comedian featured on Opie and Anthony's Satellite radio show, their traveling comedy show, Comedy Central stand up specials, movies and more. His last tv appearance was the Charlie Sheen Roast where he destroyed it. He was definitely still a rising star. He is being mourned by friends and family. Our brilliant brother of comedy is in heaven adding to it's brightness.

Nicki's Sophmore Album Coming Soon

Birdman says there will be a new Nicki Minaj album coming early next year. Nicki's first album has already sold nearly 2 million to date. Nicki says the next album will be called Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Based on the huge success of the album sales and her recent takeover at the American Music Awards, YMCMB feels it's best to strike while the iron is hot. Birdman says Nicki has been in the studio and the new album is almost done. The label anticipates that the second album should drop sometime during the first quarter. Cash Money also has plans to release new albums by Jay Sean, Birdman and the new signee, the legendary Busta Rhymes in the first quarter. Sounds like Young Mooola BABY!

Star Studded Thanks

We've all seen some of our favorite artists get in trouble and end up on the wrong side of the law. But there are several who are making great decisions to help their communities. 50 Cent and his G Unity foundation has been doing a lot for their community. He also has his Street King Energy Drink that is donating profits to help feed a billion people. Russell Simmons was the first to initiate these philanthropic events with his Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. Others that have joined the fight are Jay Z with his Higher education program The Carter Foundation, Nick Cannon with his youth empowerment with DoSomething.org, Alicia Keys and Common with Aids awareness programs, Mary J., LL. Cool J. and many others. It's nice to see them giving back to those who have supported them.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Janet Let's The Fur Fly

Janet Jackson has decided to launch a new line of high end clothing with Blackglama. Earlier this week, the company announced a new venture with Ms. Jackson. They will be launching a new line of furs, coats, jackets, scarves and other pieces that will be sold in upscale retailers like Saks Fifth Ave and Bloomingdales. Expect Janet to be the target of a lot of protests and ad campaigns. It's actually surprising that she would be involved with a line like this. Janet like Michael is so sensitive that I am surprised that she's not on the other end of this and protesting for animal rights.

Lil Wayne Had A Lil Wedding

Sources are reporting that Lil Wayne wed his longtime girlfriend recently. The exact date is unknown but a an inside source verified that the two got married in a small ceremony. Wayne and Dhea have been engaged for a while but no date was set. His ex Toya just put together an elaborate birthday party for his daughter Reginae, Wayne and Dhea were there. She has been spotted wearing two new rings, one on her index finger for the Hebrew culture and one on her ring finger for the american culture. Can Wayne remain faithful? Just recently a female took pics of him passed out after he flew her out to have sex with him but he passed out from too much "Lean". Good luck Dhea!

Big Sean Responds To LudaDiss

Big Sean was here in town on our station @KUBE93 and was asked about his feelings towards Ludacris and his recent Big Sean Diss. Ludacris the vet has recently released a mixtape that is on fire. It has a more southern sound and Luda has several guest appearances by Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, Meek Mill and more. But on one track Luda flowed solo on the song Baddaboom to respond to a comment made by Big Sean. Check the interview..

Katt's No Klepto

TMZ reports that comedian Katt Williams and some members of his "posse" were shopping at a Best Buy in Ohio when they were accused of Stealing. It was reported that the Best Buy claimed a woman in Williams' entourage allegedly stuffed something in her purse. The entire group was being accused at that point and they all were searched. After the search, it was apparent that she hadn't stolen anything. Unfortunately, during the search the same female was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana. After all of the accusations, searches, embarrassment, and commotion the group was released. All in all it was a black eye on both Best Buy and Katt Williams, pardon the pun!
BTW, if it's the chick in the photo she needs to steal a bottle of lotion for those elbows. Damn after she went to the extent of tattooing your face on her back I think you could at least buy her some Eucerin for her Psoriasis. #jussayin #occupylotion

Dr. Dre Wants Time Away

The good Doc says he has been working 24/7 for 27 years and now he feels it's time to take a break. He is currently focused on two new projects: Kendrick Lamar and Slim Da Mobster. Dre says after those two albums it's time to relax and spend time with his family. He eludes the question of when will the Detox drop but quickly offers that he is impressed with the success of Beats and promises a lot of new products in the near future. The Doc says he'll return as soon as the itch comes back. We hope the good Doc won't stay away too long.

Juvie Says No More Cash Money

Ironically, as more artists flock to Cash Money hoping for record deals, freedom and obviously more money an original Cash Money member says that they'll never do business again. Juvie says there's no bad blood but that time, chapter and door is closed. He says he sees and speaks to Birdman all of the time, there's no beef. It's just business at the end of the day. He sees that it's not just Cash Money that it's the industry. He also says that the Cash Money reunion is probably not going to happen. Former Cash Money producer says the reunion is a Hoax. Only time will tell but right now I don't think Wayne has time with all of his personal success as well as all of the new signings to YM.

Busta Rhymes Signs A Surprising New Deal

The Source magazine is reporting that the legendary Busta Rhymes signs a deal with Cash Money. This should be in our "WTF" news. Is it just me or does anybody remember all of the problems that previous Cash Money members had? Juvie flew through twice and it was still the same song. Sometimes they change who ends up on the record, what order they end up in or adding or deleting people from the track. Just as surprising they also signed Mystikal to new deal as well. Cash Money is truly holding it down!

Dr. Dre always has been and will always be the business. He has done more in this genre than any other. He has truly been like Quincy Jones with the number of lives he's had in this industry. Beats Store Is Open

The Beats By Dre store is open and off the chain. Despite 50 Cents announcement of his new Sync By 50 line, the BBD line continues to plow through the market. They were first to introduce the new high end line. Since then, many have tried to chase them down including Fif's Sleek now Sync, Luda's Soul line and more. Honestly, Sennheiser makes the headphones for both BBD and Soul and Monster makes the cables/connection. However, BBD doesn't stop there. They are now introducing a wireless option like Fif's Sync line as well as advanced controls on the headphone of the Solo's. They have also introduced more colors and signature series as well. Check out the video of their store opening with their Social Media Manager Karen Cavil.

This Weeks' WTF Video

I personally am not a Kid Cudi fan. He has done nothing to impress me personally and after seeing this video, I see why Def Jam dropped him. This video is hot garbage and has no purpose. See for yourself.

JMJ Dealing Drugs?

There are rumors swirling that the death of the legendary Jam Master Jay could have been a result of a drug deal gone bad. His former driver claims that he and Jay delivered some weight out in Baltimore. Some are questioning due to his affiliation with 50 and Jimmy Henchmen. It has been known that Jimmy Henchmen was shipping coke through the record label, the studios and through several music outlets. Most have a hard time with this theory. Jay was very active in his foundation and with his recording studio, artists and appearances. It is hard to believe that he would or would even have time to be involved in something like drug sales/distribution. These accusations are coming from sources close to JMJ but they're not credible sources. It would be hard to believe but anything is possible I guess. It's 9 years after his death on October 30th 2002 and we are no closer to an arrest or conviction of the responsible individual(s). Someone please come forward so this family can have justice.

Dame Dash Is Livin The Cavi Life?

Since the sell of Roc A Fella Records Dame Dash has tried his hand at several unsuccessful ventures. Everything from Dame Dash Music Group (DDMG) to Dame Dash Films to a night club to doing music himself. None of which has worked out. At one point it was said that Dame was broke and owed a lot in taxes. Now he is launching a web series called "The Cavi Life". How does that work? Check out the video and let's see...
