Common Says It's Still All G.O.O.D.

Common opened up about his deal with Warner Bros. He says that Lyor Cohen, former Def Jam President, called him up and said I want you on my roster. Lyor also claims to be a fan of Common and wanted the opportunity to work his new record. Common joined Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music a few years ago and released the classic album "Be". Recently Ye' announced that he signed an exclusive deal with Island/Def Jam even though many thought he would join Jay Z over at Roc Nation. On the heels of that announcement is when Comm Sense announced his departure from Def Jam. However, rumor has it that he, like Kid Cudi, is still on the G.O.O.D. Music roster. Common has been very busy with his acting career and decided he didn't want a small label trying to work his album and being forced to attend meetings when he has other obligations. Right now you can catch the homie playing the mayor in Queen Latifahs "Single Ladies" show on VH1.
